John Thomas Thorson

John Thomas Thorson, 66, of Peoria, IL, passed away unexpectedly  at his residence, Wednesday, August 7th, 2019.

John was born on June 13, 1953 in Peoria the son of the late Albert and Gloria Thorson.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan Thorson (Nelson), two daughters, Angie Thorson and Jenny (Brian) Grant, two sisters Alison (Tom) Hagan, and Lola Thorson. He also has four grandchildren who he loved dearly, Dylan and Haley Collins, and Sydney and Samantha Grant. 

He worked for Bemis Company in Peoria IL for 35 years and spent the last 13 years working for Langston Bag Company as a press operator. John was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching Nascar. He spent his years taking care of the family and friends he loved. The family would like to thank everyone who has helped us through this difficult time.
