Michael Schablow, AKA Pops, (and many other nicknames), 57, of Minier IL, passed away at home and joined his Mom and sisters Gail and Lana in heaven on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
Mike was born and raised in Wisconsin and was a proud Wisconsinite through and through. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Mike knew laughter was healing and used his sense of humor to enlighten every gathering. Mike had a passion for good food and loved cooking for family and friends. He enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and spending time with them. He loved hanging out by the campfire, boating, hunting, fishing and gardening.
Mike beat Hodgkins Lymphoma which can be contributed to his family and friends that helped him through that tough time. Thank goodness for the experimental stem-cell transplant that was available at Madison University of Wisconsin.
Mike was born on April 12, 1962 to Donald R. and Beverly A. (Gromacki) Schablow. He married Necia Swafford on September 4, 2009.
