Randall “Randy” Lee Christopher left behind his beautiful devoted wife of 35 years, Virginia Christopher and his chip off the old block adoring daughter Danielle Himes-Herrera (Brent Millard) on Sept. 12, 2018 at the young age of 62.
Randy was born March 5, 1956 in Sherman Oaks, CA. After High School he entered the U.S. Army where he served 4yrs stationed in Germany. Six years after his return to the states he took a job at Frito Lay in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where he met his soulmate. They wed in 1983 and he raised her daughter as his own.
In 2011 he and Virginia moved with their fur-baby son Chewbacca to Edwards, IL to be near their only child, son-in-law and fur-grandbabies.
Throughout Randy’s life, he loved the Lakers, Dodgers, Raiders, bowling and tennis. He loved playing his guitar and was an amazing vocalist. He enjoyed The Beatles, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Jethro Tull to name a few. Video games, watching movies and rebuilding cars were a few of his favorite past times.
Randy was a highly intelligent individual, articulate, humorous, honorable; a hard-working family man who loved hard and played even harder. He was an adventurous soul who loved the vast ocean and was taken way too soon from this earth and his family.
