Richard Springston

PEORIA - Richard Lyle “Dick” Springston, born October 26, 1935, in Peoria, IL,  passed away December 15, 2018, of natural causes, at the age of 83 at his residence. 

Richard attended White School in Peoria from 1942 until 1950, Peoria Central High School between 1950 and 1954, and SIU-Carbondale in 1954.
Richard served in the Seventh Army as a Teletype operator in Anchorage, AK during the years 1955 through 1959.

He owned and operated American Printing on Main & Crescent St. in Peoria, IL for many years.   His hobbies were playing drums and following the stock market.                                       

He is survived by his sister, Judith A. Corey of Morton, IL; four nephews; John Corey of Bloomington, IL;  Jeff Corey of East Peoria, IL;  Gregory Corey of Hopedale, IL;  and Mark A. Corey of Bakersfield, CA.
