Robert “Bob” Decker left this earth and walked into the beloved arms of his wife Carol Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 6:16 PM while surrounded by his family.
He was born Saturday, November 8, 1941 to Fred and Jeanette Brogan Decker. He married Carol Porter on Saturday, February 3, 1962, they had 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his four children Robin Mosher of Poplar Bluff MO, James (Davora) Decker of Peoria, Dennis (Brenda) Decker of Deer Creek, and Kimberly (Chance) Grabill of Bellevue. Also surviving also are three sisters Beatrice Decker of Lincoln, IL, Judy (Butch) Decker of Peoria, Margaret (Ellis) McGowan of Bartonville, two brothers Roger (Eileen) Decker of Texas, and Clarence Beebout of Virginia. His parents, one son, one son-in-law and one sister preceded him in death.
Bob retired from LR Nelson, and worked seasonally at Libby's as a tractor driver during pumpkin harvest. He was an avid fisherman in his spare and enjoyed fishing with Roger. Bob never knew a stranger, he was loved by many and will be missed by all.
