Abby Harper

Abby J. Harper, 75, of East Peoria passed away at 1:30am Wednesday February 22, 2012 at Fondulac Rehab and Health Care Center in East Peoria. She was born on July 12, 1936 in Peoria the daughter of Kenneth and Edith Marshall Weir. Surviving are two sons Frank (Diana) Blackburn of East Peoria, and Josh (Dee) Blackburn of Bemidji, Minnesota. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Further surviving are one sister Elizabeth Osborne of East Peoria and one brother Harry Weir of Eldorado, KS. and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. One daughter Jane Weldon preceded her in death in May of 2010. Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service scheduled for Saturday March 3, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Rock Church 1081 Upper Spring Bay Rd East Peoria, with Chuck Tate officiating. Memorials in her name may be given to Easter Seals of Central Illinois or to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
