Alice D. Brown

Alice D. Brown, 61, of Peoria, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born on April 10, 1953 in Peoria, daughter of the late Simpson and Marguerite Dufour Edwards Jr. She leaves behind to mourn one son L'Ree Brown of Pinole, CA; two sisters Elisabeth (Walter) Jordan of Minneapolis, MN; Francoise Reed of Peoria; two brothers Rene (Michelle) Edwards of Canton, IL and Andre Edwards of Peoria as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a 1971 graduate of Richwoods High School in Peoria and was last employed by GCA Services Group of Texas at Caterpillar Tractor Company in Mossville, IL. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Peoria.
