Angela Pocius

Angela Belle Pocius, (aka Nancy Harris) 76, of Peoria, IL, passed peacefully in her home on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.

She is survived by her two daughters Vernessa G (Guffy) Osborne (Roy Edward) Peoria, Illinois, and Lilly E (Guffy) Williams (David B Jr) Lexington, SC. Also surviving are five sisters, 17 grandchildren, 27,  great-great-grandchildren and 10 great great great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Harris and Wanda (Ross) Fenwick,  her husband Joseph Pocius JR., two sons Jeremy Lee Guffy, Bayless  (Andy) L.D. Guffy III, nine brothers, and one sister.

A mother is a love like no other, to guide, to mold, to show you how to be strong among the times when you want to be weak.  A mother's love never stops nor never waivers.  A mother is never gone; she lives inside us all.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at her home, 3221 W. Starr Street, Peoria, IL 61605, Saturday, August 15, 2020, at 4 pm.  Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services of Central Illinois Peoria is assisting with arrangements.
