Anna May Hedden

Anna May Hedden, 85 of Morton, IL passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Anna was born on January 17, 1927 to Frank and Lulu Scovill in Kansas City, MO. She married Herschel Hedden December 29, 1946 with whom she had four sons. She later married Clarence Bruell on Thanksgiving Day 1962. She was preceded in death by brother Joe (Scotty) Scovill and son Randy Hedden. Surviving are brothers Gene (Marilyn) Scovill and Don Scovill, both of Kansas City, sons Jack of Morton, Rowan (Diane) of Joliet, and Jim (Patti) of Chillicothe. Anna also was blessed with 3 grandchildren, Heather Waldron of Mishawaka, IN., Michael Hedden of Sturgis, MI., and Laura Hedden of Chillicothe, and 5 great grandchildren. She was a former member of the Sweet Adeline's singing group, and the Sparland Saddle Club. Anna was an avid horsewoman nearly all of her life. She rode and showed quarter horses, and later in life raised her beloved miniatures and small ponies. Cremation Rites have been accorded and no services are scheduled. Memorials in her name are suggested to Rescue 33 in Chillicothe or the Humane Society.
