Anthony "Tony" Lee Holderfield, 67, of Creve Coeur, Illinois, peacefully passed away in his sleep on April 13, 2026 at his home.

Tony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He shared a loving and lasting marriage with his wife, Alice Holderfield (Wright), whom he married on April 10, 1984. Together, they built a life centered on love, laughter, and unwavering support.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; his son, Chad (Kayla) Holderfield; his daughter, Sara (Aaron) Vaughn; his brothers and sisters, Jim, Matt, Melissa, and Lori; his cherished grandchildren, Jayden, Emmalin, Elena, Kennedy, Grace, Tucker, Stephanie, Tyler, and Nina; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Tony took immense pride in his family and treasured every moment spent with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Holderfield.

Tony had a deep love for the outdoors and simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, firing up the grill for family gatherings, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. He also had a passion for Texas Hold'em poker and never passed up a good game or a chance to share a laugh.

Tony was born and raised in Union County, Illinois, where he made many lifelong friends over the course of his 47 years. He later settled in Creve Coeur, Illinois.

Tony will be remembered for his warm spirit, his love for his family, and the countless memories he created with those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
