Arlene Reeves

Arlene Marie Reeves, 80, of Peoria passed away at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center on Friday, December 4, 2015 with her family at her side. She was born August 24, 1935 to Travis and Gladys Robison in Lilly, Illinois. She married Harold E. Reeves December 19, 1953 who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Esther, Ethel, and Virginia, and brothers, Perry, Elmo, and Charles. Surviving Arlene is one sister, Carol (Keith) Huff, brothers, Robert (Barbara) Robison, Travis (Phyllis) Robison and Henry Thomas (Peggy) Osman. Her children, daughters, Karen (John) Wines, Brenda (James) Doyle, Marcia (Nathandrew) Bailey, Kimberly (Jorge) Diaz, Penny (Alan) Painter, Wendy Reeves, sons, Daniel (Linda) Treece, Tony Clay Reeves, Kenneth Reeves, Jeffrey Reeves, Harold Reeves, Jr., Tracy Reeves, step daughters, Teresa Alvarez, Beverly (Amador) Ramirez, Lisa (Tyson) Lockhart, Kimberly (Gene) Baker. 33 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren further survive her. She loved Jehovah, her God and served Him to the end. Her most valuable asset was her family, who loved her dearly. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She worked tirelessly as a single parent, never wanting anything in return. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015, 1:30 PM at Parkside Kingdom Hall, 1521 N. Park Road, Peoria, IL.
