Arnold R. "Arnie" Burger, 75, of Peoria, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria, IL.

He was born on January 7, 1949, in Pontiac, IL, the son of Erich and Martha Wilson Burger. He married Linda Hogan on December 1, 1982, in Peoria.

Surviving are his loving wife and many other family members.

Arnie was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. His service to his country was marked by his commitment and skill as a Jet Aircraft Mechanic on the flight line, culminating in an honorable discharge.

Following his military career, Arnie joined the Caterpillar Tractor Company, where he applied his mechanical expertise and meticulous attention to detail, retiring as an inspector.
