Avery Swarms

Avery Allen Swarms, 36, of North Pekin, IL, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, December 25, 2022.

He was born on November 23, 1986, in Centralia, IL, the son of Chester Swarms and LaDonna Wynn.

Surviving are his son Mason Swarms, and his son's mother, Destiny Steinkamp Baer, both of Mansfield, IL; his father, Chester Swarms of Mt. Vernon, IL; his mother, LaDonna Wynn of Centralia, IL; Five brothers Zachary Swarms of Fairfield, IL, Malcolm Swarms of Crestview, FL, Blaze Snow of Xenia, IL, Chance Snow, and Tyler Snow both of St. Peter, IL; two sisters Shyaire Snow of St. Peter, IL and Naeveh Snow of St. Peter, IL. Avery also had many family and friends, including Shelby Mikrut of Brimfield, Il, that loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Catherine Swarms and Wendell and Patricia Wynn.

He worked as a welder for Caterpillar Tractor Co. at the Mapleton Foundry in Mapleton, IL. Avery enjoyed the outdoors and loved being around people. Avery had a deep love for his dog Staley.

Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services, Peoria, is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 12 noon on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Patoka Park in Patoka, IL.
