Ayden Markus Taylor

Ayden Marcus Taylor, 7, of West Peoria passed away unexpectedly in the early morning of August 21, 2015 at his home. He was born on May 20, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria the second son of Jamie Patterson and James Patterson Jr. Ayden's family includes his older brother Wendell Ernest Taylor Jr., sister Morgyn Patterson, maternal grandfather Mark (Kendra Reliford) Doerr, maternal grandmother Michelle Godfrey (Gavin Godfrey), paternal grandmother Christi Patterson, and paternal grandfather James Patterson Sr. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ayden has always been a fighter from the time he was born a preemie at OSF NICU to the very morning he passed. He fought a courageous battle with leukemia and was a patient of St. Jude Children's Hospital. Despite his battles with cancer Ayden always found a way to laugh and make those around him laugh. He loved watching wrestling, playing with his cousins, and going to school. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held 1pm, Friday, August 28, 2015 at Gospel Experience Church located at 3101 N.E. Madison St. in Peoria. Pastor Richard Hammonds will officiate.
