Barbara Dillon

Barbara N. Dillon, 83, of East Peoria, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born November 26, 1938, in Logootee, IN to Wilbert and Mildred (Kinnaman) Westhafer.  She married Vearl G. Dillon on December 1, 1956, in Carlisle, IN and together they cherished 54 years until his passing on October 20, 2011.  Her parents, two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons Brian (Laurie) Dillon, Doug (Shelly Brooks) Dillon of Norman, OK, Matt (Theresa) Dillon of Washington, IL.  one daughter Dawn (Dave Yeargain) Dillon of East Peoria.  Further surviving are five brothers, three sisters, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Barb enjoyed camping, traveling, her dogs and cats.  The family would like to say thank you to to Fresenius Medical Care in East Peoria and OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria for their care of Barb and her family.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Fresenius Medical Care.  In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you plant a bronze mum in her memory to enjoy.  Affordable Funeral and Cremation Services, Peoria is assisting with arrangements.
