Benjamin S. Garman

Benjamin Scott Garman, 45, of Morton, IL, passed away unexpectedly, Friday afternoon, July 22, 2016 in Morton. Ben was born August 18, 1971, in Peoria, IL, the youngest son of Rodney and Linda (Krempp) Garman. He was a proud father of his son, Joseph S. Garman. Also surviving are his mother, grandmother; Virginia (Garwood) Krempp, sisters; Wendy Fannon and Jodie Garman, brothers; Dusty Barker and Pat (Kari) Garman and several nieces and nephews. Ben was preceded in death by his father, grandparents; William and Dorothy Garman and grandfather; Albert Krempp. Ben attended East Peoria High School then later lost his arm due to an accident. He worked various jobs where he was known to be a hard worker and greeted you with his infectious smile and hardy "Hello". He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed the congregation of Bridgeway Community Church in Pekin, IL. He enjoyed NASCAR races, the Washington Redskins, the St. Louis Cardinals and Native American & Wolf Art. You could usually find Ben in his yard working on his landscaping projects, which brought him great joy. He also enjoyed drawing in his spare time. Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date. Memorials in his name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
