Betty Marie Fisher, 85, of East Peoria, IL, passed away at 12:06 PM on Monday, March 20, 2023, at River Crossing of East Peoria.

She was born on June 3, 1937, in Peoria, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Schoaff McCabe.

Surviving are five children Debra (Steve) Cagle of Havana, IL; Mary Hamlet of Peoria, Jennie (Erin) Youell of East Peoria; Roger (Jenny) Hamlet and Oswald Hamlet, both of Pekin. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Jerry Hamlet, one brother Gene McCabe and one sister Josephine McCabe.

She enjoyed mostly spending time with her Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Friends. She loved them all very much. She spent a lot of time talking to them on her phone.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service at Springdale Cemetery will be held at a later date. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services, Peoria, is assisting the family with arrangements.
