Bettyjean Dudley

Bettyjean Dudley Passed away at 6:00PM August 4th 2012 at Heritage Healthcare in Chillicothe, where she had been a resident for 5 years, she was 87 years. She was born to Marion and Irma McGown Allison in Lincoln, IL on November 16th, 1924. She married Ira Dudley in 1969. He preceded her in death. One son Scott also preceded her in death Surviving are two daughters Toni Majors Nelson of Colorado, and Teri Hopkins Huss (& husband Rodney) of Chillicothe IL, as well as one daughter-n-law Debbie of Peoria. Further surviving are two aunts Peg Gibson of Galesburg, Shirley Peterson of Florida, and one sister Doris Foust of Goodhope IL. Three grand children, & eight great grand children also survive her. Betty retired from International Paper Co. in Peoria in 1994 after many years. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, sewing & crocheting, and dearly loved her dogs. Betty was a member of the V.F.W. and of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church of Peoria IL. Graveside service are scheduled for 1:00pm Wednesday August 8, 2012 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria with Rev. Wayne Wickware officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Heritage Healthcare in Chillicothe or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
