Beverly A. Clark, 78, passed away on June 22, 2026, at OSF St. Mary’s Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois.

She was born in Peoria, Illinois, to John and Deloris “Dee” (Estep) Lance Jr. on June 16, 1948. She married Jack Clark on August 19, 1967.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Drew) Johnson, of Pekin, and their daughters, Lauren and Kaylee; her son, Jay Clark, of Peoria Heights, and his children, Avory, Anderson “AJ,” and Alanea. Also surviving are her sister, Sandra (Chuck) Auten, of Pekin, Illinois, and her brother, Rick (Laura) Lance, of Oro Valley, Arizona; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, sister Rebecca Stone, and granddaughter Courtney Johnson.

She was a woman of many talents. Over the years, she worked in banking, cosmetology, and daycare administration in the Peoria, Chillicothe, Pekin, Morton, and Germantown communities. She enjoyed crafting, cake decorating, scrapbooking, coloring, playing cards, and watching her children and grandchildren participate in their school events and sports. She was an integral part of all five of her grandchildren’s lives and loved them dearly.

Cremation rites and arrangements have been handled by Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington, Illinois. A private family burial will be held at LaSalle Cemetery in Rome, Illinois, at a later date.
