Billy Miller

Billy D. Miller, 81, of Hanna City, IL passed away peacefully at 4:35am Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his residence. He was born on December 16, 1934 in Glasford, IL the son of Leo and Velva Hall Miller. He married Phyllis J. Williams on December 7, 1956 in Hanna City. She passed away on September 25, 2008 in Peoria. Also preceding him in death were his parents, one sister and two brothers. Surviving are three daughters, Debbi (David) Bitner of Peoria; Jodie (Michael) Darwish of Trivoli and Lisa (Ron) Kelch of East Peoria. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Ryan Jones of Peoria, Eric (Kelly) Jones of Montpelier, VA, Adam Longo of Chandler, AZ., Katie Kelch of Morton and Joe Kelch, of Bloomington, and Tristin Bitner of FL. Two great grandchildren and one brother Larry Miller of Farmington, IL also survive. He was an honorably discharged U.S. Army Veteran. Bill worked for Service Transportation Lines and the Pepsi Cola Co. both in Peoria along with being the owner and operator of Bill's Small Engine repair shop in Hanna City. He was a past member of the Hanna City Sportsman's Club. Bill also enjoyed stock car racing and formerly raced at the Peoria Speedway. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
