Bonnie K. Chapman, 84, of Peoria, IL, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

She was born on February 17, 1940, in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Irvin and Zelma (Nester) Koser, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her soulmate, Bob Temple; daughter, Rosalee Johnson; and sister, Martha Boergadine.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Wesley (Brenda) Chapman of Sterling, Debra Chapman of Alabama, and Steven (Laira) Chapman of Chicago, as well as ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was a dedicated home health aide for Lutheran Social Services, serving for 23 years before her well-deserved retirement.

Bonnie was a cherished member of Richwoods Christian Church in Peoria. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her church. Interment will take place at a later date in Historic Springdale Cemetery in Peoria. Memorial contributions may be made in Bonnie's memory to her church.
