Carl R. Russell

Carl R. Russell, 75, of Peoria passed away at 9:10am, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria, IL. Carl was born on February 28, 1940 in Magnolia, IL the son of the late Robert and Floss Jarrett Russell. He married Judith A Dutlinger on March 18, 1966 in Peoria. Surviving are his wife, children Rebecca Russell, Robert Russell, Michael Russell, Amy Hamilton, Anna Weyenberg, Ken Kamp, Scott Kamp in addition to six grandchildren and 3 great grand children. Further surviving is one brother John Russell; two sisters Vera Wendle and Wanda Freese. Carl worked for Ozark Airlines and TWA Airlines in Peoria for 37 years. Carl was a hard worker and good provider for his family. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30am, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Peoria First Christian Church, 6400 N. University St. in Peoria. The Rev. Karen Merrick will officiate. Visitation will begin at 9:30am and continue until his time of service. Burial will be at a later date in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria.
