Carol M. Monroe

PEORIA-Carol M. Monroe, 79, of Peoria, passed away at 10:16pm Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born on February 4, 1939, in Sparland, IL daughter of William Pearson and Dora Copple McDonald. She married James Monroe on January 18, 1957, in Bradford, IL.

Surviving are her husband, three daughters Bambi (Mark) Nelson of Peoria, Tina (Elmer) Schuster of Bartonville and Dondi (Allen) Maricle of Bourbonnais, IL. Further surviving are 8 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one sister Sue Downey of Lacon, IL. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
