Carole Mcneese

Carole D. McNeese, 67, of Peoria passed away at 2:55pm Thursday June 2, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on August 25, 1943 in Cairo, IL the daughter of Marshall and Mable Dover Johnson. She married Henry McNeese. Her husband, 1 sister and 5 brothers all preceded her in death. Surviving are her children Stacey (Percy) Johnson-King of Peoria; David (Amy) Johnston of Anna, IL; Bridgette (Jimmy) Furtch of Paris, TX and Elner (Terrance) Childs also of Paris, TX. She is further survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren as well as four brothers Philip Johnson, Jack Johnson, Rusty Johnson, and Edgar Johnson all of Southern Illinois two sisters Cheryl Appleberry and Annette Doublin both of Peoria. A homemaker she enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Paradice Casino. Cremation Rites have been accorded with a memorial service scheduled for 6pm Sunday June 5th at the Cornerstone Church 312 Sanger Peoria, IL. Immediately following her service the family will receive friends at 2511 W. Grinnell Peoria, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial may be given in her name to the National Kidney Foundation.
