Caroline J. Jones

Caroline Jones, 78, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2012 at her residence in Peoria. She was born on July 24, 1935 to Seaborn and Edith Sheets in Canton, Illinois. She married Robert Davis at the early age of 19. They were married for approximately 26 years before his passing. She later married Marley Jones. He also preceded her in death along with her siblings Betty Carrigan, Lee Sheets, Norma Sheets, and Juanita Leonard . Surviving are her children, Debbie Scott and Robert Davis. Three siblings, Viola Dubois, Sharon Wells and her brother Walter survive her. Also surviving are four grandchildren, many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Caroline dedicated her life to her family, always giving of herself generously and selflessly. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was loved greatly by her family. Caroline cared for the elderly as a homemaker and caretaker at her home for many years. She was compassionate and giving, having a loving heart for the aged in her care. Cremation Rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Community Building in Middlegrove Illinois on Monday, October 8th at 1pm.
