Cheri Jean Buffington, 79, of Peoria Heights, IL passed away at 8:20 am, on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Accolade of East Peoria.

She was born on June 29, 1942, in Peoria, IL the daughter of Earl and Rozena Hart Baker. She married Ralph Buffington and he preceded her in death.  Her parents, her husband, one daughter Liana Collins, one son Bon Buffington, and one brother Pete Baker all preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter Peggy (Gene) Lear, one son Ralph W. "Bill" (Kimberly) Buffington.  Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Private family services will be held.
