Cheryl J. Hinshaw

Cheryl J. Hinshaw, 66, of Peoria, IL, passed away at 6:23am Sunday, May 23, 2021, at her residence with her family by her side.She was born September 21, 1954 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Donald L and Pat B. Zenor Hinshaw.

Surviving are one daughter Carissa Casey of Peoria IL, her stepmother Patricia Hinshaw of Peoria, IL two brothers Clark Hinshaw of Peoria IL, Richard Hinshaw of Peoria Heights, IL and one sister; Stacy (Mike) Johnson of Homer, IL.

Cheri tended bar for several years, she later worked for Aldi and was also a self-employed house cleaner extraordinaire for many wonderful clients in the Peoria area. Cheri had a strong love for her family and it is forever instilled in their hearts. Her yard was her sanctuary, admired by all who were blessed to view it. Cheri developed a love for cooking and feeding people from her grandma, and no one ever left her home without a full belly. While Cheri enjoyed all genres of music she never missed the opportunity to attend Blues/Jazz festivals.
