Christopher Kamp

Christopher C. Kamp, 62, of Peoria passed away early Monday morning of July 22, 2013 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. He was born on August 7, 1950 in Peoria the son of Howard and Priscilla Cranford Kamp. Surviving are one son Patrick Kamp and one sister LeeAnne Wheatley, honorary stepchildren Sarah Brenning, Heather Brenning, JJ Brenning and Chris Segler also survive him. His parents, and one honorary stepdaughter Denise Brenning preceded him in death. He was a life long resident of Peoria serving in the Air National Guard. He was a long time member of Operative Plasters and Cement Masons Association, and was a gentle and kind-hearted soul who left many friends. Cremation Rites have been accorded with a celebration of his life being held from 2-4pm with a 3pm prayer reading on Saturday August 3, 2013 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. Memorials may be given in his name to the NRA or to a charity of the donor's choice.
