Clifford D. Wys

Clifford D. Wys, 80, of Kewanee formerly of Pekin passed away at 2:30pm Saturday, November 30, 2013 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on May 6, 1933 in Peoria the son of Earl F. and Helen C. Dillion Wys. He married Agnes "Susie" Price February 18, 1956 in Peoria. Surviving are his wife of Kewanee and their children Bryan (Cynthia) Wys; Karen Petty; Sue (Doug) Bowman; Jill Coats; Rick Wys. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, three sisters Julia Anderson; Twila (Bill) Barlow and Connie (Doyle) Collins one brother Earl (Janet) Wys. His parents and one brother Elmer preceded him in death. He was an honorably discharged US Navy Veteran. He worked for the TP&W Railroad in East Peoria last working as a switchman before his retirement in 1993. He was a devoted member of Jehovah's Witnesses in Kewanee. Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service at 5:00pm Sunday December 8th at the East Peoria Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
