Connie E. Clelland, 64, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on March 19, 2026, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born on October 31, 1961, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Frederick "Fritz" and Helen E. Nuebling. She married William Clelland III on March 1, 1980. Bill passed away on May 17, 2024.

Surviving are her children, Rachel (Michael) Spitz and William Clelland IV, her grandchildren, Vincent, Audrey, and Bridget Spitz, and her fur-babies, Shiloh and Dot. Also surviving are her siblings Carol Greathouse, Dennis Nuebling, and Pam Martindale, along with many nieces and nephews.

She loved spending her days working on her favorite hobbies, such as quilting, knitting, crocheting, yarn spinning, and gardening. She also enjoyed feeding the birds and sharing special moments with her grandchildren, playing games, teaching them about art, and fostering their creativity.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A life celebration is scheduled at The Warehouse on State St. in Peoria on April 2, 2026, from 2-5 pm.
