Courtney Elizabeth Horan-Donahue

Courtney Elizabeth Horan-Donahue affectionately known as Coco, 37, of Peoria, IL, passed away April 5, 2020, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born on August 15, 1982, in Peoria, the daughter of Michael and Brenda Long Horan.

Surviving are son, Quinn Donahue of West Peoria, IL. Two sisters, Brandy Horan of Denver, CO, Michelle Horan of Chillicothe, IL, her mother of Chillicothe, and niece Julianna Rodman. Her fiancée Mike O'Brien of Peoria, IL, and his daughter Kiara O'Brien of Chicago, IL. Close family include Brent and Kathy Long of Chillicothe along with four cousins. Her father, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents, preceded her in death.

Courtney was a graduate of Illinois Valley Central High School in 2000. She then attended the Oehrlein School of Cosmetology and Illinois Central College. Courtney was in the foodservice industry for many years in the Peoria area. She also worked as a pharmacy tech at Wal-Greens. Courtney was a self-taught chef, mastering many sauces and seasonings. She enjoyed many things in life, including swimming, fishing, spending time with Tim and Mary O'Brien at their lake house, on-line shopping, sleepovers with her niece; she loved her dogs Bear and Mama, but especially loved her son and the time she spent with him.
