Damon "Dj" Burns

Damon James "DJ" Burns, aged 35, of Peoria, IL, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. DJ was born in Peoria to Dionysia Fauber and David Parker and later adopted by Orlando Burns Sr. and Josephine (Richard) Ingle.

DJ was fortunate to have the love of two families. He was preceded in death by both of his biological parents and two siblings, Ray Parker and Davion Parker.

DJ is survived by his son, Syncere James Fauber, and his siblings: Julia Parker, David Ray Parker, Zachary Parker, Breanna Parker, Bethany Noar, Natalie Milor, Alexandra Parker, Roziah Parker, Latieka Burns, Shay Burns, Kathy Brown, Orlando Burns Jr., and Nicole Burns. He also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and grandmother's behind.

DJ worked as a local roofer in Peoria and cherished spending time with his son and family.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate his life will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Wednesday August 14, 2024, at Timberlake Club of Peoria, 5501 W. Farmington Rd, Peoria.
