Danny R. Jordan

Danny Ray Jordan, 69, of Pekin passed away at 11:45am, Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 5th, 1947 in Lancaster, TN the son of Wallace and Anna Mae Lockhart Jordan. He married Beverly Doubleday November 26th 1969 and she proceeded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents and 2 brothers Mark Jordan and Micheal (Scott) Jordan

Dan is survived by two daughters Denise (Robert) Garst and Shelley Jordan and one grandson Dylan Jordan all of Pekin, IL. Also surviving are two sisters Deanna (Gary) Thompson and Missy (Vincent) Sharp both of Peoria Heights, IL; three brothers Dennis (Norma) Jordan of Washington, IL Wallace (Deborah) Jordan of Peoria, IL and Jimmy Jordan of Washington, IL along with and several nieces and nephews

He worked for 30 years at Caterpillar Tractor Co retiring in 1995. He also worked for several years as a bus driver for Peoria School District 150. Dan was an avid Chicago bears fan and he really enjoyed spending time with family.

At the request of Dan, cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials in his name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
