Daryl W. Mabrey

Daryl W. Mabrey, 48, of East Peoria passed away unexpectedly at 5:03am on Monday, November 11, 2013 in the emergency room at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on August 14, 1965 in Peoria the son of George and Doris Wilson Mabrey. Surviving is his mother and his second father Darwin Morgan whom Doris married in 1983. Also surviving is his long time fiancAC. and sweetheart Jessica "Christy" Sleeth whom he made his home with, three sons; Nathanial, Dylan, and Dustin all of Creve Coeur; one brother Michael (Linda) Mabrey of Creve Coeur, and one sister Jane (Jim) Snyder of Trivoli. Further surviving are two step brothers Larry Morgan and Darin Morgan; three step sisters Carolyn Elmore, JoAnn Benway and Angie Yeater all of Mackinaw as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. His father preceded him in death in 1981. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 10am Saturday, November 23rd at Creve Coeur Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Daryl Mabrey Memorial Fund established at any Heartland Bank.
