David N. "Crazy Dave" Edwards, 64, of Brimfield passed away at 6:10pm Saturday October 20, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on April 2, 1948 in Peoria the son of Glenn and Dorothy Beebe Edwards. He married Sherrie Barrie on May 21, 1966 in Peoria. Surviving are his wife of Brimfield and their children Angie (Willis) Boord of Elmwood, Steve (Whitney) Edwards of Edwards, Marty (Brian) Stufflebeam of Peoria, and Tammie (Shane) Updyke of Brimfield. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, two brothers Larry (Pat) Edwards of Washington, and Danny Edwards of Peoria, one sister Roberta (Ronnie) Williams of Manito. His parents and one brother Daryl preceded him in death. Dave had a passion for the outdoors; he loved fishing, hunting and camping. He also loved shooting and collecting guns. Cremation Rites have been accorded with a memorial service scheduled for 2:00pm Wednesday Oct 24th at Steve's home, 9412 W. Grimm Lane, in Edwards. The family will then receive friends from 3pm until 8pm also at Steve's home. Memorials may be given in his name to Methodist Hospice or BYE Ambulance Service.
