David M. Babcock, 73, of Peoria passed away at 2:25am Thursday, September 27, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born on May 12, 1945 in Faribault, MN the son of Milton and Jean Vollmer Babcock.  He married Judy McMullen on July 3, 1965 in LaFayette Georgia and she survives.

Also surviving are Bobbi Babcock-Conley of Peoria, Kelly (Leonard) Lee of Braidwood, IL and Jamie (Jamie) Pugh of Alpena, MI.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, David, Jessica, Sarah, Madison, and Brady; two great grandchildren Bryanna and Sophie.  Further surviving are three brothers Jim Babcock of East Peoria, Ronald (Eve) Babcock of San Diego, CA and Steven (Mary) Babcock of Washburn, IL.  His parents, one son Richard Babcock and one sister Sandra Scoby preceded him in death.
