David W. Livengood

David W. Livengood, 60, of Marquette Heights passed away on Wednesday Spetember 25, 2013 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born on July 10, 1953 in Peoria the son of Eugene R. Helfter and Jeanne M. Dempsey Livengood. Surviving is his mother Jeanne Livengood, four brothers Steven (Lynn Beale) Helfter, Richard (Sue) Livengood, James (Judy Junis) Livengood, and Thomas Livengood; three sisters Linda (Bernie) Miller, Diane (Bill) Kimsey, and Margaret (Jim) Linehan. Further surviving are several nieces, nephews as well as Tami Heynen with whom he made his home with, and special friends Larry, Mary, David Garner, and Cori Maas. He was a car salesman for 30 years at various dealerships in the Peoria area. He was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Cremation Rites have been accorded with a Celebration of Life scheduled for October Sunday, 6th at 1pm at the American Legion Post 979, 4501 S. Airport Rd in Bartonville. Memorials in his name may be given to the American Cancer Society.
