David Watts

PEKIN-David L. Watts, 69, of Pekin passed away at 12:25 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Care Center in East Peoria. He was born on April 30, 1948 in Peoria son of Ralph and Cynthia Ferrari Watts. He married Marilyn Haynes on May 6, 1996 in Groveland and she passed away on October 7, 2015. Surviving are his mother of Peoria, two sons David J. (Coby Isaia) Watts and Andrew G. (Dana) Watts all of Mapleton. Two stepsons Klinton Haynes and John (Barb) Haynes both of Pekin. Further surviving are three grandchildren; Samantha, Hunter and Lily along with seven step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. David worked at Keystone Steel and wire for 37 years retiring in 2004. He was a St. Louis Cardinal's fan, avid golfer, and enjoyed playing cards with his retired friends at Pekin Moose Lodge. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside services are scheduled for a later date at Glendale Cemetery in Pekin.
