Deborah S. Bledsoe

Deborah S. Bledsoe, 56, of Peoria passed away unexpectedly at 2:20am on August 26, 2014 at her residence. She was born on May 21, 1958 in Peoria, daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Richmond Schwabe. She married James Bledsoe on August 19, 1986 in Spring Bay. He passed away on January 15, 2014. Surviving is one son Michael Cluney of Peoria, one sister Judy Jordan of Largo, FL along with one nephew Joe Kalb. An accomplished vocalist, she was the lead singer in the local area band "Downer's Grove" in her early twenties. While in the band she met her future husband, James the lead guitarist. Deborah was also an accomplished author with the pen name of Vaalen Rhane. She devoted herself completely to being an exceptional wife and a mother for the remainder of her life. Until the day of her death, she found a reason to smile, to laugh, and to thank God. Her strength and faith were an inspiration, and she will never, ever be forgotten. Graveside services are scheduled for 10am Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
