Dennis E. Parr, 78, of Metamora passed away at 4:55am Monday April 23, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center in Peoria. He was born on January 12, 1933 in Metamora the son of Henry and Bertha Waldschmidt Parr. He married Betty Fathner in 1977. She passed away on September 20, 1994. Two brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death. Surviving are two sisters Muriel (Lloyd) Field of Richmond, CA; Marlene Baker of Segiel, IL; and one brother William (Louise) Parr of Peoria, as well as many nieces and nephews. Denny was a self-employed property manager in the Metamora and Peoria area for many years. Cremation rites have been accorded with private burial of his remains at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
