Dennis E. "Toby" Tyler, 79, of rural Manito, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 14, 2026, at his residence following a brief illness.

Toby was born on May 10, 1957, in McKenzie, Tennessee, the son of James and Margaret Chandler Tyler. He married Shirley Bailey on September 24, 1991, in Havana, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Stephanie (Chad) Mitchell, and one son, Teige (Savannah) Tyler; and three stepdaughters, Amanda LaMont, Heidi Revelle, and Holly Revelle. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, along with three sisters, Margaret Houston, Karen (David) Boswell of Hopedale, Illinois, and Vicky Tyler of Forrest City, Illinois. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Stacy Johnson. Johnson.He worked for Diamond Star in Bloomington for many years.
