Denny Joe Hatcher

Denny Joe Hatcher, 56, of Spring Bay passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born June 29, 1958 to Denver and Cindy Hernandez Hatcher. They, along with his much-loved grandparents, Don and Betty Kington, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife Angelica Hatcher; son Joel (Amanda) Hatcher; daughter Kara (Nathan) French; three grandchildren Nathan Hatcher, Abigail Hatcher, and Kathryn French. Further surviving are two sisters Teri-Lyn (Kent) Calhoun and Peggy (Pete) Oliveria. Denny Joe worked at several major companies throughout his life, including IBM and ABN Amro Bank as a computer programmer and systems analyst. He earned his pilot's license in 2004 and loved to share his passion of flying with friends and family. Denny Joe was also very passionate about his snake collection and planned to breed them to fund his golden years. But, more than anything, he loved spending time with family (especially his grandchildren) and friends, sharing stories and having fun. Cremation Rites have been accorded and a time to celebrate his life was held on Saturday November 22, 2014.
