Diana Lynn Jones (Thompson)

Diana Lynn Jones (Thompson), 54, of Houston, TX. went to be with her Lord at 5:45am Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at her sister's home in Bradford, Ill Born February 11, 1959 in Peoria, Ill to Charles and Charlene Jones. Both parents and a niece, Jennifer Diana Giberson, preceded her in death. Surviving are her brothers Marlin (Dawn) Jones of Williamsburg, VA., Martin (Patty) Jones of Morton, IL. and her sister Mary Thies of Bradford, IL. Diana remembered for passion of family her dogs and as a nurse at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX. for the last 30 years. She gave 100% of herself in her profession and was very giving and compassionate to all she touched, even until her passing. Although home with the Lord, her presence here will be greatly missed; she was a woman of great integrity and dignity. At Diana's request, cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service is scheduled for 5:00pm Monday, February 3, 2014 at Richland Baptist Church in East Peoria, IL. There will be no visitation.
