Surviving is one daughter, Angela (Allen Jr.) Hamm of Peoria; one grandson, Ryan (Jordan Barnes) Paul of Hanna City, IL; and two great-grandchildren, Easton Paul and Elliana Barnes.
Born with an innate curiosity and a passion for learning, Diann pursued her educational goals with vigor, taking numerous classes at the community college to become certified in computer programming. Diann's professional journey was marked by her unwavering independence and strong work ethic during her tenure as a computer programmer for the State of Colorado.
Beyond her professional achievements, Diann's zest for life was evident in her varied interests. She once called the vibrant shores of Honolulu, Hawaii, her home and often spoke of her desire to return to its sun-kissed beaches and gentle waves. Although she never returned to the island paradise, her memories of Hawaii remained a treasured aspect of her life.
Diann's love for the disco era was more than just a fond remembrance; it was a rhythm that moved her. She was often found on the dance floor, grooving to the beats that defined a generation. Her love for music extended beyond the discotheque, embracing all genres with an open heart. The "You've Got a Friend" melody by James Taylor held a special place in her heart, a tune she shared with her daughter, symbolizing their enduring bond.
Her leisure time was also spent on the golf course, where she enjoyed the occasional game, relishing the blend of concentration and relaxation the sport provided. Diann's presence on the green was just another facet of her multifaceted life, filled with joy, companionship, and the simple pleasures of a well-lived life.
