Dixie Brumbaugh-Donley

Dixie Donley-Brumbaugh, 84, of Peoria Heights, passed away at 9:30pm Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. She was born on March 25, 1931 in Saybrook, IL the daughter of Frank and Ewanda Lappin Thompson. She married Francis "Don" Donley on September 22, 1950 in Peoria. He passed away on December 1, 2005 in Peoria. She later married Cliff Brumbaugh on June 1, 2006 in Bradshaw NE. Surviving are her husband of Peoria Heights, one daughter Barbara (Clyde) Taylor of East Peoria, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. One daughter Becky Rexroad, one grandson Tyler and one sister Phyllis Davis preceded her in death. Dixie worked at Proctor Endowment Home for 44 years last working as a dietary supervisor before her retirement on January 3, 2007. A graveside service is scheduled for 9am Monday, August 10, 2015 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens Chapel with Rev. Karl Kraemer officiating. There will be no visitation.
