Dolores F. Koehler

Dolores F. Koehler, 74, of Peoria Heights passed away at 7:38am Monday, September 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1941 in Galesburg, IL the daughter of Marion and Pearl Caulkins Hood. She married John C. Koehler on May 12, 1973 in Chillicothe. Surviving is her husband of Peoria Heights, children Debbie Beckman Lux and Randy (Casey) Beckman both of Chillicothe; Vickie Rusk of Peoria and Shelly (Dan) Brodine of Elmwood. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, one daughter Rhonda Tipton and one son John C. Koehler Jr. She worked for Stride-Rite Shoes for 12 years retiring as store manager in 2006. She had many enjoyments in life but especially enjoyed fishing, and camping with her husband. Dolores has always had a love for music. She also had a love for dancing. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family service will be held.
