Don Walden

Billy "Don" Walden, 63, of Peoria passed away at 11:31am Tuesday January 22, 2013 surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born on September 30, 1949 in Delrose, TN to Henry and Ida Whitman Walden. He married Karen Pavelka on February 22, 2002 in Gatlinburg, TN. Surviving is his wife, one daughter Heather (Larry) Walden-Fox of Washington. Also surviving are two grandchildren Carter and Casey Fox of Washington; two brothers Ray (Marge) Walden of Yates City; and Cal (Julie) Walden of Peoria; two sisters Doris (Rick) Bryant of Albuquerque, NM and Judy (Bob) Billingsley of Peoria. His parents and one brother Kenneth preceded him in death. Don was a self-employed carpenter in the Peoria area last working in 2011. Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday January 27th from 3pm until 7pm at Timber Lake Country Club, 5501 W. Farmington Rd to celebrate Don's life. Memorials in his name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
