Donald l. Monari, 76, of Chillicothe, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 as a result of a fire at his home.

He was born on February 20, 1938 in LaSalle, IL to Dom and Leona (Sabatini) Monari. Surviving are two children, Lisa (Dan) Vogel,Todd Monari, two grandchildren all of Peoria and 1 brother Robert (Linda) Monari.

He retired from Caterpillar.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Don's life will be held on Sunday, April 13 from 2pm-3pm at Blue Ridge Cemetery in rural Chillicothe. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Chillicothe Fire Dept.
