Donald E. Perona

Donald E. Perona, 65, of Henry passed away at 10:20pm Sunday March 27, 2016 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on March 20, 1951 in Streator, IL the son of the late Peter and Doris Rennau Perona. He married Kay A. Laier on September 11, 1979 in Ft. Wayne In. She passed away on June 1, 2012. Surviving is one son Jason (Darla) Laier of Peru, IL and their children Jeremy and Jenna; one daughter Tara (Irvin) Lewis of Henry and their children Courtney, Christopher, Austin and Cody. Also surviving are two great grandchildren Jaelynn and Jaliyah along with three brothers Pete (Lois) Perona of Ft. Wayne, IN; Norman (Mary-Ann) Perona of Streator and Steve Perona of Toluca, IL. He worked as a security officer for many years. He enjoyed many things in life including fishing and mushroom hunting. He had a dog-named Lucy that he was very fond of. Cremation rites have been accorded with a private family service to be held at a later date.
