Donald L. Siders

Donald L. Siders, 83 of Peoria passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Heartland Healthcare of Peoria. He was born on February 28, 1932 in Rock Island, IL the son of Vern and Ada Allen Siders. He married Mary L. Jones on February 1, 1969 in Tucson, AZ. Surviving are his wife, two daughters Ruth (Frank) De Shields of Kingman, AZ and Nia Bailey of Peoria one son Donald of Florida. Also surviving are one brother in law Ben (Sheila) Jones Green Top, MO and Charles Jones of Tucson, AZ as well as one grand daughter Charlotte of Las Vegas, NV. One daughter Mary Margaret Cook and his parents preceded him in death. A lifetime member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, he graduated from Rock Island high School, Devry University and the University of Arizona. He was active in many organizations and the Peoria community. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials in his name may be made to CWTC of Peoria or to the family.
